I check that account far more than I do this one.
Now lemme tell you a story and it has to do with "the dress" stock image. Everytime I see it being used I often think back.
It was when I was a full time weekend student last year in college. I would work all week then attend school all weekend. I had a class set for a walking tour of downtown Ottawa Canada, specifically the market area. I was out late the night before not really thinking that it would be all that bad. So anyway I got downtown earlier than I expected so I had some time to burn before taking the tour. It was intended to help us identify the architectural feel of the area and get a sense of history so that we could design a building that would fit in the area, anyway I got to the rendevous point early so I had some time to burn. The are has some very upscale high end boutiques. One of my classmates showed up and we were waiting for the light to change to cross the street. I simply turned and took the shot of the dress in the window. Complete accident but I guess it turned out good enough. After I took the shot I thought that it would go good in my stock gallery and that is where I posted it. I swear it has gotten the most attention of both my galleries!
Accidental shot that turned out a sucess, not bad. I have taken a couple of other dress shots in display windows and have yet to come up with something that I think is worth posting. I guess I might be trying too hard.
So to all those that have used and or will use the dress image in their work, I am thankful and I am happy that I took the shot.
Have fun with it and any others that you find here!
